MADRID. THE TREASURES OF THE GREAT CITY
Contemplating the magnificent buildings of Madrid, it is difficult to imagine that once a miniature village stood on the site of this city. The village was located near the walls of the fortress of Maggiri and gradually expanded, slowly but surely turning into a beautiful city.
Today, Madrid is the palace capital of Mother Europe. The infinite splendor of palace complexes, royal castles and fortresses creates the feeling that you are in a fairy tale.
To take a closer look at the city, it is advisable to start from Puerta del Sol. The square can be called the heart of the city. To the east of the square lies the Parliament, to the west the Royal Palace, to the south-west of the Plaza Mayor, to the south-east the largest Atocha station. Continue reading
